The new digital radiography series reportedly offers proprietary technologies that can preserve image quality and allow better control of X-ray dosage.
Emphasizing ease of use, optimal image quality and reduced radiation dose, Canon Medical Systems has launched the CXDI-Elite digital radiography series.
The CXDI-Elite series offers an array of benefits, including the company’s image processing technology Intelligent NR, which reduces graininess and unnecessary noise while preserving optimal strength of signal, according to Canon Medical Systems.
The company added that the CXDI-Elite series will include Built-in AEC Assistance, a proprietary technology that enables real-time assessment of corresponding pixel value to emitted X-rays through the device’s image sensor. Canon Medical Systems said this information enables radiologists to have improved control over the X-ray dosage.
Canon Medical Systems noted that the CXDI-Elite series also includes the new CXDI-720C Wireless sensor unit, which provides enhanced functionality and support for radiation dose control while ensuring high image quality and sensitivity.
