Toshiba Features Updates to CT and PET/CT

Toshiba will be showcasing at RSNA 2014 safer CT solutions and patient-friendly PET/CT.

Toshiba will demonstrate the software and hardware enhancements (some pending 510(k) clearance) to its Aquilion CT scanners. Toshiba will also showcase their Celesteion PET/CT system, which Toshiba claims delivers a more comfortable patient experience through the industry’s largest bore, widest field-of-view, dose reduction technology, and speedy imaging. The combination of high-performance PET and CT makes for a versatile system for all radiation and oncology imaging needs, including tumor detection, treatment evaluation, and CT simulation, Toshiba said.
