SurMD will debut at RSNA 2014 its secure, cloud-based image archival and distribution service.
SurMD will launch at RSNA 2014 its DICOM image archival and distribution (SDAD) service.
The SurMD team will demonstrate the security and efficiency benefits of a cloud-based archival and sharing service for radiologists, the company announced. The service offers features like one-click DICOM image and diagnostic report sharing in real-time, as well as expanded storage space for a growing number of images.
SDAD is VNA-guaranteed and stores data in native formats that can be downloaded in their original form for use at any time. The DICOM gateway works with any PACS server to back up and scan new data automatically, SurMD said. The SDAD admin portal locates patient records with intuitive built-in search capabilities and allows safe distribution of reports to patients or referring physicians, SurMD said.
The SDAD service is HIPAA-certified by a qualified third party and features pay-as-you-go plans.
