Shimadzu will debut Cvision, a work-in-progress C-arm system thatcan conduct radiography/fluoroscopy, angiography, and interventionalexaminations. Cvision supports up to a 16-inch image intensifierfor large field-of-view imaging.

In MRI, Shimadzu will display its Magnex Alpha II 0.5-teslascanner, and will emphasize its image accelerator, which enablesMR angiography maximum intensity projection (MIP) processing concurrentwith scan acquisition. Shimadzu's new CT offerings are SCT-7000Tand the work-in-progress SCT-6800T.

Shimadzu's ultrasound highlight is SDU-2000, a color-flow Dopplerscanner that is the latest addition to the company's EchoViewseries.
