Participants who complete levels I-IV at ACR’s Radiology Leadership Institute will be awarded credits toward an MBA from Babson College.
Considering earning an MBA? Completing courses of the American College of Radiology’s Radiology Leadership Institute will put you on the path toward earning the business degree.
Participants who complete levels I-IV will be awarded credits toward a master’s in business administration from Babson College’s Olin Graduate School of Business, the ACR announced this week.
The RLI, launched last year, is a multi-level academy offering leadership courses and activities. Babson’s Fast Track MBA program consists of 46 credits over 21 months. Online learning averages 20 hours per week, and in-person classes take place about every seven weeks in Wellesley, Mass., or San Francisco. Students also participate in two week-long residences in Wellesley.
Radiology leaders can earn up to four credits through the RLI partnership, and can be used toward elective courses. RLI participants are not required to take the GMAT before admission to the Fast Track program.
“While the RLI equips radiology professionals with the leadership skills they need to advance their careers and strengthen the radiology profession, many of radiology’s future leaders would benefit from earning an MBA as well,” Cynthia S. Sherry, MD, FACR, medical director of the RLI and chair of the ACR Commission on Leadership and Practice Development, said in a statement. “I encourage RLI participants at all levels to take advantage of this unique opportunity.”
