Rebekah Moan moves into the position of deputy editor, a post formerly held by Shalmali Pal, who has become news editor for our sister publication, Oncology News International.
Moan joins us from a position at Elsevier in Washington, DC, where she was a staff writer for a newsletter covering the supplements industry.
The transition has not been as abrupt as you might imagine; her work there exposed her to clinical issues and clinical trials and should serve her well as she adapts to medical imaging.
Donna Domino has taken the position of feature editor. Before this, she worked as a freelancer and for the San Francisco Daily Journal, a daily legal newspaper.
Interestingly enough, we share a common background. In a different lifetime, I hired and supervised the starting editorial staff for the San Francisco Daily Journal. It was after leaving that publication that I found my way to medical journalism.
Domino has already started work on feature articles for Diagnostic Imaging and will treat the topics with same precision she did when she covered legal issues.
Expect to hear from them both as they step up our efforts to bring you the best clinical and practice coverage of radiology.
