Merge Healthcare Inc. will introduce at RSNA 2013 a new universal viewer solution, iConnect Access Version 5.0.
The viewer combines enterprise viewing with image sharing, intended to make image review easier for referring physicians from any location.
The solution combones a zero-client enterprise universal viewer with an image sharing/CD import workflow manager and a non-DICOM management tool that integrates into EHR workflow, the company said. The integrated solution aligns with an organization’s strategic goals and aims to enhance performance.
Slated for delivery in the first quarter of 2014, iConnect Access 5.0 is part of the iConnect Enterprise Clinical Platform and includes iConnect Enterprise Archive.
