Prof. Josef Lissner from Munich died on 30 December 2006. He was president of the ECR in 1991, when the meeting was first held in Vienna. He was a member of DI Europe's editorial advisory board in the early 1990s and received a special presidential award at the 2006 RSNA meeting.
