Imaging equipment remanufactured by Huestis Medical will soon join the product offerings of Marconi Medical Systems. The two companies have signed a two-year agreement that calls for Marconi to distribute remanufactured AMX portable x-ray units and OEC C-arm equipment in the U.S. and Canada. The products will be sold through Marconi’s Health Care Products division. Remanufactured units will sell for 40% to 60% less than comparably equipped brand new equipment, according to Marconi.
