A jury found that EG&G Astrophysicsviolated the patent, and ruled that Lunar and co-plaintiff theUniversity of Alabama-Birmingham Research Foundation were entitledto split the award.
Lunar does not manufacture baggage scanning devices, but doesintend to sublicense rights to its technology to baggage-scannerdevelopers, the company said.
