Image analysis solutions provider iCAD Inc. will highlight several new features of their mammography CAD, MRI image analysis and colon CAD products.
In the company’s mammography line, the company will showcase its SecondLook Premier, a customizable mammography computer aided detection solution designed and developed using a 100 percent digital image database, the company said. The solution, which includes clinical decision support tools, is now available in Europe and company officials expect to receive FDA clearance for sale in the U.S. in 2012.
The company will also be demonstrating SecondLook Digital Multi-Vendor Solution, designed to work with the major digital mammography products as a practice expands.
iCAD will also be displaying its latest version of VersaVue enterprise software for MR image analysis, which has been optimized to improve speed and includes an upgraded user interface and automated templates for images and charts, said Peter Espo, vice president of global marketing.
iCAD will be featuring two partnerships in their MRI portfolio as works in progress - an MRI-guided prostate biopsy solution and a prostate MRI-TRUS fusion integration, Espo said.
Last month, the company entered in to a distribution agreement with Hitachi Medical Systems for iCAD’s SpectraLook with PrecisionPoint image analysis solution for breast MRI to be available with Hitachi’s Oasis and Echelon MRI systems.
Finally, iCAD will highlight its VeraLook CAD system for virtual colonoscopy, which was made available in 2010.
