David R. LaVance Jr. was voted in as a new member of Hologic's board of directors at the Feb. 25 annual stockholders meeting. LaVance founded and has served as president of Century Capital Associates, an investment banking firm specializing in bioscience. Previously, he was managing director for KPMG Health Ventures, a life sciences consulting practice of the KPMG accounting firm.
