Offering four key software-as-a-service features, the cloud-based enterprise imaging suite reportedly offers enhanced security and storage and facilitates streamlined radiology workflows.
Providing a new suite of cloud-based features to foster workflow efficiencies in radiology, GE HealthCare unveiled the new Genesis enterprise imaging portfolio at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2025 conference.
Facilitating easier access, management and storage of images, GE HealthCare said the Genesis suite is comprised of four key software-as-a-solution (SAAS) features.

The suite includes the Edge feature, which enables hybrid solutions that allow facilities to combine existing investments in imaging hardware and software with cloud-based privacy and security safeguards. Other benefits include enhanced vendor-neutral image archiving, AI-powered data migration and cloud-based storage management, according to GE HealthCare.
“With the launch of the Genesis portfolio, we will be providing cloud-enabled solutions that can help transform patient care through accessible, sharable, and secure imaging data while simultaneously improving clinical and operational efficiencies,” noted Scott Miller, the CEO of Enterprise Imaging Solutions at GE HealthCare.
