GE Healthcare has received FDA clearance of its Optima XR220amx, Optima XR200amx and Brivo XR285amx, a new platform of mobile x-ray systems.

The product line responds to aging populations, rising obesity rates, and an increasing demand for patient-centric medical care by creating a “radiology room on wheels.”

The machines provide fast, low-dose images for diagnoses in challenging clinical settings.

The digital Optima XR220amx, digital-ready Optima XR200amx and Brivo XR285amx, are more compact and powerful than earlier models, featuring intuitive touch screens, immediate start-up capability, more storage and the high image quality required today.

The Optima XR220amx also immediately integrates with GE’s FlashPad digital wireless detector.
