Healthcare financier DVI has agreed to work with Toronto-based Captiva Finance to launch DVI Canada. The new group will focus exclusively on financing diagnostic and other therapeutic medical equipment in Canada. The strategic alliance combines Captiva's experience in supporting vendor finance programs with DVI's specialized healthcare knowledge and relationships with medical equipment manufacturers. DVI finances medical equipment through offices maintained in the U.S., Europe, Latin America, South Africa, and the Far East. DVI also offers working capital under lines of credit backed by healthcare receivables in the U.S.
