Creating Quality Improvement in Emergency Radiology

Partnerships between emergency radiology and emergency medicine are critical to proper patient care.

In a session during the American Society of Emergency Radiology (ASER) 2020 annual meeting, Summer Kaplan, M.D., a pediatric radiologist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, discussed methods and strategies emergency radiologists can implement to launch quality improvement projects.

And, in outlining the overall importance of quality improvement partnerships between emergency medicine and emergency radiology, Kaplan also discussed some challenges that providers should keep in mind.
