Nuclear Associates of Carle Place, NY, has introduced a phantom designed specifically for quality assurance tests of computed radiography equipment. The Boston CR Test Tool enables users to calibrate CR scanners or compare conventional film-screen imaging with computed radiography imaging of the same object. Images of the test tool can also be transmitted over a teleradiology network and printed on a remote printer to validate the integrity of image transfer.
