Kolstad was previously worldwide marketing manager for the Imaging System Division of Agilent Technologies and Hewlett-Packard and brings 10 years of medical-imaging industry experience to CDT.
The Westford, MA-based firm has licensed patents for the use of OCT from MIT (SCAN 11/11/98). The vendor hopes to have its first product, a microscopy system, which does not require review by the Food and Drug Administration (SCAN 9/1/99), on the market by midyear.
