Advanced visualization software developer Claron Technology will debut at RSNA 2012 enhancements to their “No Install” cloud-based viewers.
The Nil viewers will be transformed into robust enterprise-class image visualization and sharing tools, the company said. The Nil viewers include NilRead, a diagnostic quality web-based viewer, and NilShare, a streamlined veiewer for clinicians and patients.
For NilRead, Claron introduces support for viewing federated historical patient exams across multiple PACS archives, vendor neutral archives and health information exchanges. The new version also supports rules-based hanging protocols so exams will be displayed based on a user’s preferences. It will also become the first web-based viewer to support multi-monitor image display, the company said.
The company has also integrated Skypoe for voice, data and instant messaging into both viewers. NilRead and NilShare can be integrated into any DICOM network and are available as turn-key systems.
