Article

Medical imaging company aycan Medical Systems will highlights at RSNA 2013 its vendor  neutral archiving, viewing, printing and integration solutions.

Among the products featured is the aycan specialty workstations, powered by OsiriX PRO, including solutions for mammography, oncology and vascular surgery. The workstations provide tools for general diagnostic reading and advanced post-processing, as well as certified plug-ins specific to each field of study, the company said.

The company will also showcase the aycan mobile iPad app, designed to quickly and securely transfer DICOM images from hospitals and imaging centers to on-call and other radiologists and referring physicians. The tool allows for remote review, interpretation and diagnosis of radiological images, review of images at the patient bedside, and distribution and consultation of images. The app has received FDA 510 (k) clearance and European CE-marking.

The company will highlights its aycan store, a PACS/RIS that is a vendor neutral, scalable DICOM archiving and distribution system. They will also feature the xray-pring system, a DICOM paper-print solution.
