Amicas readies RIS upgrade
PACS/IT vendor Amicas will launch next week a new version of its radiology information system. Workflow tools aimed at managing pre-authorization requirements, insurance eligibility, and patient status are highlights of the new product, which will be unveiled Oct. 11 at the Radiology Business Management Association’s 2009 Fall Educational Conference in Chandler, AZ.
