CHICAGO - Nailing the job interview is often considered the hardest part of the employment-seeking process. But you first have to find the available jobs.During the Resident Forum at this year’s Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting, Richard Sharpe, Jr., MD, MBA, chair of the RSNA Resident and Fellow Committee, offered some advice on how to quickly and effectively identify the jobs that are most suited to your skill set and desires.“You need introspection â develop an awareness of what type of job you would be happy in,” said Sharpe, who is also a breast imager with Kaiser Permanente. “The career search starts out with interviewing for the jobs that are available, and that’s good. But somewhere through the process, you discover that the hard part is figuring out what’s the best job for you and your family.”To reach this goal, he outlined six steps to get you on your way.
